The Hawaiʻi location is the main branch of all Hālau Nā Mamo O Tulipa. Founded in 2004 by Kumu Leato S. Savini the hālau has roots in Waiʻanae, Mililani, Kapolei, and ʻEwa-Mahiko.
The classes are led by Kumu “Mama” Mokihana and Alakaʻi Hulaleʻa Frazier. They are assisted by Kākoʻo Pilialoha Frazier.
The Wednesday Papa Hōʻike for our advanced haumāna meet on Wednesday at Kumu’s Hale from 5:30pm-7:30pm
Thursdays are another beginner Papa Hula that meets at ʻEwa-Mahiko District Park from 5pm-6:30pm.
